Innovation is a vital skill to navigate our fast-changing world. As we move into the fifth industrial revolution it's no longer enough to just know. We need to know how to use the incredible information at our fingertips in order to dream bigger, dream better than ever before. So then, the question becomes how do we "do" innovation? Innovation is a skill and can be taught, and then applied. The more a skill is used, the better we become at it just like swimming or football or learning an sntrument the key is regular practice. Innovation Soc enrichment programs and workshops are designed to teach young people how to "do" innovation. We break innovation down into divergent and convergent steps and show young people how to get "unstuck" by switching gears between these two modes of creative thinking. Problem solving skills, communication skills and collaboration skills are all stretched and strengthened in a challenging and fun way.

We support young people's enrichment from Y7 onwards all the way up to GCSE and A-level or college to learn highly regarded "future skills" of innovation . We tackle communication and oracy, critical thinking, collaboration, creative problem solving and storytelling. We seek to mobilize your child's natural curiosity and teach them simple systems to enliven a "passionate curiosity" into their everyday, within school and out of school. Result : These learning outcomes become repeatable elsewhere.

We are a collective of award-winning practitioners experienced in the field of innovation and storytelling . Through our work and partnerships, we are dedicated to delivering workshops that ignite thought-provoking conversation inspired by literature, science, technology, politics, philosophy and art.

Through learning repeatable tools and techniques, students learn six ways to operate in the world. They learn to be opportunity focused when problem solving, to be action-oriented in finding solutions, to develop mental resilience through the unattached exploration of varied possiblilities, to switch between abstract and concrete thinking, to iterate and capture feedback constructively and to appreciate that courage, trying new ways, leads to competence.
"How Might We" or "I Wish" is a brilliant way to frame a question in the face of obstacles. Try re-stating a problem you face in your life now using these powerful words. The more you practice, the better you get at finding fresh and unchartered waters.
Everyday chat may be cheerful, polite, informative, funny or interesting but it can often lack a crucial ingredient. Leo Tolstoy in the Emperor's Three Questions suggests this ingredient is our full attention in the now. Conversations that bring aliveness to the everyday are closely aligned to a work of art, with more than one creator. Explore :)
We want to fill our towns, our lives, with more open-mindedness and the new conversations that follow! Why? Because a curious mindset makes for a more innovative and enriched society. We want to give young people reasons to have interesting, creative and out of the ordinary conversations by inviting them to join in intriguing ideas from the past and present; drawing from literature, science, technology, history, politics and philosophy.
Innovation skills and process are designed to make us think laterally, across silos, and beyond the original box in which a problem was at first identified. Out of the box thinking, the ability to re-frame a problem into an opportunity is a significant and optimistic skill: one that can help throughout life, whatever our personal and professional goals. In the workplace innovation skills are highly valued as transferable skills, proven to boost commercial outcomes for the workplaces that invest.
Being able to start and carry a conversations offers several benefits. It helps us expand our social network, form new friendships and boost our confidence socially and , later, professionally. Having a curious and 'open' mindset, being confident to ask questions and also offer responses that take the conversation to new places, increases the quality of our relationships across the course of our entire life.
